Chaz started working at KTCI in July 2001. He attended MTI and graduated in 2009 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (Electrical) and came to work for PowerCom, a division of KTCI.

HAYDEN SCHELSKE

Apprentice Electrician

Hayden worked part-time for the PowerCom division of KTCI while attending MTI to obtain his degree in Electrical. After he graduated, he immediately started working full-time at KTCI in May 2017.

JOSH McLAIN

Journeyman

Josh graduated from MTI with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (electrical). He worked for DeYoung Electric, LLC in Redfield before coming to work for KTCI in February 2018.

TRENT JOHNSON

Apprentice Electrician

In 2008, Trent started at Shep’s Electric in Chamberlain as an electrician. When KTCI purchased Shep’s Electric in April 2018, Trent came along with the purchase and continues to help with our customers electrical needs in Chamberlain.

MIKE SCHWARTZ

Journeyman

In 2013, Mike graduated from MTI with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (electrical) and worked for Shep’s Electric. When KTCI purchased Shep’s Electric in April 2018, Mike came along and continues to help with our customers electrical needs in Chamberlain.

CARTER COLLINS

Apprentice Electrician

Carter started in 2015 as a part-time employee graduated from Mitchell Tech in May 2021 for his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (electrical) and works full-time for KTCI PowerCom division.

JAKE LONGVILLE

Journeyman Electrician

Jake started as a part-time employee while in high school in 2010. After graduating in May, he worked for KTC Construction as a Combination Technician. 

He attended MTI, graduating in 2014 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science (electrical) and returned to work full-time with PowerCom.

BRANDON JENSEN

Part-Time Apprentice Electrician

Brandon is a part time electrician apprentice. He graduated from Chamberlain High School in 2021 and will

attend Mitchell Technical College in the
fall to pursue an applied science 
degree in electrical construction.
